Classic Burgundy; vibrant salinous acidity, white flowers, yellow fruits, and citrus.
About The Makers:
Domaine des Gandines is in the middle of the Mâconnais region and was created by Joseph Dananchet in 1925, on an exceptional vineyard, itself named "Les Gandines". In 1979, his grandson Robert began farming organically and increased his holdings from 1.5 hectares to eight. The estate was certified organic in 2009 and biodynamic in 2011, with Robert and Benjamin Dananchet both passionate about Chardonnay and keeping the quality of their family vineyards at the highest possible level.
Clara, Our Sommelier, Says...
Lovely pale yellow colour with bright green hues. The nose develops fresh citrus and lime aromas with light salty notes. The palate is well balanced with a vibrant acidity. The wine expresses all the character of a Macon Chardonnay with fresh aromas of white flowers, yellow fruits, and citrus.
