Shipping Policy

Shelf Life

Our cheeses tend to last 5 days or more from delivery. The soy-based cheeses have a shorter shelf life and cannot be frozen, whereas the nut-based cheeses (apart from any jarred cheeses) last longer and can be frozen for up to 2 months and defrosted in the fridge. We would recommend either ordering closer to the date you need the cheeses, or just ordering nut-based caheeses and freezing them in advance.

We then stock more mass-market brands that are pre-packaged and can last for weeks to months unopened. Please refer to individual product pages and packaging for product-specific information.

Delivery Schedule

Orders placed before 11am will be dispatched the same working day (Mon-Thu excluding bank holidays)

Orders placed after 11am will be dispatched the same working day (Mon-Thu excluding bank holidays)

Orders will arrive within 24-48 hours of dispatch.

You will receive tracking information via email from Evri once your order is dispatched. 

Shipping Rates & Times

Shipping is £5.95 or free on orders over £50. Once shipped, you will receive notifications and updates regarding the status of your order. 

Our delivery packaging guarantees items will remain at below 5°C for 24 hours (our shipment window), and below 8°C for 48 hours (extended shipment window). Customers are advised to remove the products from their insulated delivery box and liners, and to refrigerate products ASAP after receipt of delivery. Once opened,  we would also recommend unwrapping cheeses and placing in a sealed container to maintain freshness. 

Disposing of packaging

Since our ice packs are only guaranteed to stay cold for up to 48 hours we recommend discarding these after delivery (empty contents into sink/bin and recycle the plastic using), or refreezing and reusing them for your own personal needs. The outer bag of the ice pack is made of LDPE and is fully recyclable with other plastic films and bags at all big supermarkets. The recyclenow website gives information on the nearest recycling point to an address for each material. By 2027, it will be fully kerbside recyclable.

Our boxes are doorstep recyclable and reusable, however foil-based liners may be used which cannot be recycled. You are more than welcome to return these to our shop if you are able to, however, we are unable to arrange a packaging return process with our courier at present.

Changing your delivery information 

Unfortunately we are not able to change delivery information after an order has been placed. You will need to place the order again. 

Delivery Issues

We are unable to accept responsibility for missed deliveries or any issues caused by the customer not being present to accept their parcel. We also do not accept responsibility for any issues caused by errors in a customer's address.

The shipping company is a separate entity from us so please contact the carrier for any problems related to shipping and missed deliveries.

Please note that it is the customer's responsibility to monitor the tracking of their parcel and contact either us or the courier regarding any delivery issues.
